Safety Guidelines for Students

  • Use your private transport as much as possible. Avoid public transport if there is a possibility. Please note that the school transport facility is temporarily suspended until further notice.
  • If you feel sick, do not hesitate to stay at home and rest. You may come back to school only when you are recovered.
  • If you do not feel well at school and feel uncomfortable, inform your class teacher as soon as possible.
  • Wash your hands for 20 seconds at every possible time, especially when entering the school premises. Use a sanitizer [use a personal one (gel type)] at every possible time so that you can kill germs in your hand.
  • Our canteen will not be in operation.  Avoid eating any food bought from pastry shops. Bring your own food and drinks and cup etc.  Have /eat your food in the classroom. Proper disposal of waste is very important.
  • Always wear your reusable face mask. Do not throw it here and there or let other friends touch your mask. Please bring an additional face mask.
  • Always use a handkerchief or tissue when coughing or sneezing. If not cover your mouth with the inner side of your elbow.
  • Shoes sanitizing to be made mandatory.
  • You should wear fresh cloths (uniform / PE kit) every day.
  • Avoid touching your mouth, nose and eyes as much as possible.
  • Avoid touching the walls on the verandas and staircase walls.
  • Avoid touching your friends stuff [desk, chair and etc] and avoid sharing your food with your friends.
  • Bring only what is necessary for your studies, avoid bringing other non-relevant stuff [birthday cakes, gift items, games items and etc]. We will not be accepting parcels at the gate.
  • Avoid wearing wrist watches; do not exchange books, stationary, food etc.
  • Always maintain 1-meter distance, avoid physical contact with your friends, especially when using public transport.
  • Always maintain this distance when going to classroom, library, computer room for IT, bookshop, washrooms, to pay school fees and at the dispersal time.
  • Do not loiter or roam in the corridors, washroom area and canteen unnecessarily.  Number of students entering wash rooms will be limited to the number of rooms/toilets available. Your teacher will allow only one at a time, to the washrooms.
  • Do not gather in a crowd in places. Always take turns when you go to places. Specially after school, students should not get into groups. Try to go home as soon as possible.
  • Guide your friends about good healthy habits.  Be friendly but remember to maintain the distance.
  • Maintaining discipline and having patience will avoid the spreading of the virus.
  • Normal school code of conduct will apply.
