3 Decades of Success – RIS celebrates its 30th Anniversary (1991 – 2021)

Royal International School has stepped into its 3rd decade with many success stories which were sculpted by diligence, determination and distinction.

To mark our 30th anniversary and in recognition of these trying times, The Royal Foundation for Education – an initiative that will secure an uninterrupted education for students in the event of any catastrophic event which befalls their family – was officially launched.

This historical day of our school in the context of these unprecedented times is commemorated with a solemn reminder that we each have a responsibility enrich the lives of others and the Royal International School is proud to announce a commitment of Rs. 1 million annually to the Foundation to ensure that we serve our community to the best of our abilities.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to our Founder Director, Dr. Newton Peiris and Chairperson, Madam Sandra Wanduragala for their enduring guidance and support. We would also thank our Principals of Secondary, Primary and Pre-Primary for their leadership. A special note of appreciation to our educators, students, our parent community and every other individual who have contributed to this incredible 30 year journey.
